After CFMoto released a few pictures of the SR-C21 concept, now there is the first video, more pictures and a whole lot of rumors about a small but extreme super sports bike.
Not only renderings
The new pictures and also the video show the concept bike and not just renderings created on the computer. The bike was designed by CFMoto R&D Europe Modena 40 in Italy, that much has been revealed so far.
At least parts of the fairing are made of carbon. The brakes are from Brembo, the suspension components from Öhlins and the exhaust system from SC-Project. So far so sporty. The engine is said to be a 400 cc twin-cylinder. Exact specifications are still missing, however, it is believed to be based on the 490cc KTM engine. Since CFMoto and KTM work closely together, this would be quite possible.
Race track and street
The concept bike is extremely designed for the race track, which can be seen, among other things, in the covers for the front brake discs. However, the lighting elements also point to a street-legal version. A release in 2022 is expected, and an official presentation should not be long in coming, at least that’s what CFMoto itself is hinting at.
However, it is also unclear on which markets the ST-C21 will be released. Since CFMoto now sells motorcycles in Europe and America in addition to its home market of China, there is at least some hope.
