ESSEN MOTOR SHOW – 2026
The ESSEN MOTOR SHOW takes place from November 28 to December 6, 2026, at the Messe Essen exhibition grounds – nine days of Europe’s leading consumer fair for sports cars, tuning, motorsports, classic cars and motorcycles. The exclusive Preview Day opens on November 27.
With around 550 exhibitors across more than 100,000 square meters in eight halls, the ESSEN MOTOR SHOW presents a spectrum unmatched in Europe: from high-performance vehicles and individually tuned showcars to historic classics, current racing machines and elaborately customized motorcycles. The five themed worlds – Performance & Racing, Tuning & Lifestyle, Motorsport, Classic Cars and Motorcycles – offer something for every automotive and two-wheel enthusiast.
The tuningXperience showcases the best projects from tuning clubs and scene legends. The Classic & Prestige Salon in Halls 1 and 2 brings together exquisite vintage cars, sports car legends and rare racing machines. The Motorsport Arena gives visitors up-close encounters with current racing vehicles. The program is complemented by a Galeria accessories retail mile and the new Car Market in Hall 1A.
Over 350,000 visitors are expected – making the ESSEN MOTOR SHOW one of the most-visited automotive exhibitions in Europe and the performance festival of the year in the Ruhr metropolis since 1968.

Tickets
Day tickets from €15 (adults), reduced tickets for children under 16 from €10. Multi-day passes and online advance sales available through the official ticket shop.
