Moto Guzzi World Days – 2026

105 Years of Moto Guzzi: World Days 2026 in Mandello del Lario
From 3 to 6 September 2026, Mandello del Lario on the eastern shore of Lake Como once again becomes the world capital of Guzzisti. Motorcycles have been built here without interruption since 1921, making Moto Guzzi Italy’s oldest continuously operating motorcycle brand. This year’s Moto Guzzi World Days (GMG – Giornate Mondiali Moto Guzzi) are especially significant: they mark the brand’s 105th anniversary and the official opening of a completely rebuilt factory and a fully renovated brand museum.

New Factory and Museum Take Centre Stage
The centrepiece of the four-day event is the official inauguration of the new production halls and the completely rebuilt museum at the brand’s historic home. From Thursday to Sunday, the factory and museum are open to visitors free of charge – a rare look behind the scenes of a brand that has produced motorcycles at the same site for more than a century. Historic racing machines will be on display alongside the current model range built around the V100 Mandello.
Grand Parade and Supporting Programme
On Saturday morning, 5 September, the traditional parade rolls from Lecco to Mandello del Lario: thousands of Moto Guzzi motorcycles from every era ride together along the lakeside road – an image that has defined the World Days for years. Live music from Virgin Radio runs throughout all four days, alongside free test rides on the entire current model range, street food stalls, and gatherings of international Guzzi clubs and fan groups.
Regional Context
Mandello del Lario sits on the eastern shore of Lake Como between Lecco and Bellagio – scenically one of Lombardy’s most appealing regions and already a popular touring destination for motorcyclists. The combination of a factory visit, lakeside parade and the winding mountain passes nearby makes World Days a multi-day destination that goes well beyond a single brand gathering.
Admission and Registration
Attending the Moto Guzzi World Days 2026 is free, though advance registration via gmg.motoguzzi.com is recommended, as individual programme items such as factory tours and test rides have limited capacity.
Opening Hours and Getting There
The factory and museum are open during daytime hours from Thursday, 3 September, to Sunday, 6 September 2026. Mandello del Lario can be reached via the SS36 state road from Lecco and Colico, or by train (Mandello del Lario–Molina station on the Lecco–Sondrio line); dedicated motorcycle parking will be set up at the event grounds.
