Salon du 2 Roues Lyon – 2027

France’s biggest motorcycle show kicks off its 34th edition
The Salon du 2 Roues (S2R) is France’s largest motorcycle show, drawing a record 187,500 visitors in its most recent edition, and traditionally marks the season opener for the European motorcycling scene. After the attendance record set at the 33rd edition in 2026, the show returns to the Eurexpo Lyon exhibition centre in Chassieu from 11 to 14 February 2027 — slightly earlier in the year than usual.
Record numbers and programme
The 2026 edition grew 8.5% year-on-year: 187,500 visitors, including 69,900 on Saturday alone and 3,000 trade visitors during the dedicated press and professional preview days. More than 700 exhibitors across several halls showcase new models, custom bikes, youngtimers, trial and off-road machines, as well as scooters and urban mobility. Regular fixtures include the motorcycle auction (102 bikes sold in 2026), the “Top Clef” competition for apprentice motorcycle mechanics, and the S2R Film Festival celebrating motorcycle culture.
Villages and special areas
The show is organised into several themed zones: the Village Voyage for motorcycle travel, the Village A2 for riders on an A2 licence, the Dafokaz’ custom and build area, a children’s area, and the Espace Airbag focused on protective gear.
