MOTO-ZÜRICH – 2027

MOTO-ZÜRICH 2027: Second Edition of Switzerland’s Season Opener
When the long-running Swiss-Moto show disappeared, it left a gap in Switzerland’s motorcycle scene – MOTO-ZÜRICH has filled it since 2026 as a new, independent season opener. After a successful premiere with more than 7,000 visitors, the second edition returns to Zurich-Oerlikon from 19 to 21 February 2027, staged across the StageOne and Halle 550 venues. The organisers promise: “2027 will be bigger, more diverse and more immersive.”
Exhibitors and New Models
Across roughly 5,740 square metres at StageOne, manufacturers, dealers and importers meet the motorcycle community. Rather than trade-fair gigantism, MOTO-ZÜRICH offers a curated programme: relevant new releases, technology topics and the models that matter for the coming season. AZ Motorrad is presenting partner, with MotoScout24 as co-sponsor.
Supporting Programme and Special Activities
The Live Arena hosts short talks, interviews, racing insights and road-racing stories – deliberately compact rather than long-winded. In the adjoining Halle 550, the Action Zone fills 4,260 square metres with stunt shows, a pit-bike experience and workshops. Once the halls close on Saturday, the MOTO-ZÜRICH season-opening party continues – already included for anyone holding a day ticket (admission from age 18), with a standalone party ticket also available.
Cultural and Regional Context
The venue in Zurich’s dynamic Oerlikon district is one of the city’s most distinctive event locations: steel beams and exposed brick define the StageOne hall, just a short walk from Oerlikon station. MOTO-ZÜRICH explicitly positions itself not as a successor to Swiss-Moto, but as its own, more compact format for Switzerland’s season kickoff.
Admission and Tickets
Because visitor capacity is limited, organisers recommend buying tickets in advance through the official ticket shop. Day tickets, a 3-day ticket and a standalone party ticket for the Saturday-night party are available. Children up to 12 years get free admission when accompanied by an adult. Cash, card and TWINT payments are accepted on site.
Opening Hours and Getting There
MOTO-ZÜRICH 2027 runs from Friday, 19 February, to Sunday, 21 February 2027. Exact 2027 opening hours had not yet been officially published at the time of writing; as a guide, the 2026 premiere ran Friday 12:00–22:00, Saturday 09:00–22:00 and Sunday 09:00–18:00. Public transport is recommended: Zurich Oerlikon station is only about 450 metres away and served by numerous S-Bahn, tram and bus lines. Drivers will find several public car parks within walking distance, and dedicated motorcycle parking is available near the halls.
