The return to EICMA: a long-awaited comeback
Pierer Mobility has not been represented at EICMA for the past five years, but that doesn’t mean the group has been idle. On the contrary, KTM in particular has brought some remarkable machines onto the market during this time, which have caused quite a stir in the motorcycle scene. Florian Kecht, Head of Sales for the Group, commented on the return to the show: “An appearance at EICMA was long overdue. With our impressive range of motorcycles and the latest technologies from our four brands, it’s time to return in style after a five-year absence.”
Pierer Mobility Group will have a spacious 1,635 square meter stand at EICMA where it will showcase its latest products as well as concepts for future models. Kecht added: “We want to showcase not only our latest products, but also the stories and developments behind each model. We want our stand to be a place of diversity and an overall experience. We want to move, excite and inspire every visitor.”
KTM: Focus on adventure and off-road
For KTM, the main focus at EICMA 2024 will be on adventure and off-road. After the Duke range was refreshed this year with the introduction of the 1390 Super Duke R and the 1390 Super Duke Evo, the focus is now on the off-road models. KTM, known as a pioneer in motocross, has built up a strong presence in this segment in recent years and is expected to introduce new models and updates in this area.
Not forgetting the 990 RC R, which has already been presented as a prototype. The final road version is expected to be presented at the trade fair.
Husqvarna: A new model expected
There is also exciting news from Husqvarna. Pierer Mobility has indicated that a new model will be launched that will join the brand’s existing range, which includes the Norden, Vitpilen, Svartpilen and Offroad models. Details on this new model are still scarce, but it is expected to appeal to a wide audience.
GASGAS: Innovative concept bike on the horizon
Pierer Mobility is planning to unveil an innovative concept bike for GASGAS, a brand that has made a name for itself in the off-road scene. It is rumored to be a performance-oriented off-road machine that could complement the brand’s existing models. This presentation could be of particular interest to lovers of high-performance off-road motorcycles.
MV Agusta: Special models and the entire model range
MV Agusta, the latest addition to Pierer Mobility’s portfolio, will be represented with its entire model range at the EICMA. The focus will be on special models such as the Enduro Veloce and the Superveloce Arsham. These models combine the typical Italian elegance of MV Agusta with modern technology and will certainly be a highlight of the presentation.
