After more than two decades, Suzuki has redesigned its company logo for the first time. The familiar “S” remains, but has been modernized for the digital age. The new emblem is flatter and has a contemporary look thanks to its reduced, clear design. The previous look was reminiscent of a shiny, chrome-colored medallion, while the new generation emblem appears to be made from a solid metal block with bevelled edges. The striking chrome look that adorned Suzuki's fuel tank emblems for years has now given way to a high-gloss silver finish. According to Suzuki, this step not only serves to create a more modern look, but is also intended to reduce environmental impact.
Suzuki is breaking new ground and relying on an unusual but promising energy source: cow dung. The Hamamatsu, Japan-based company is not only pursuing its own strategy, but also receiving support from the United Nations (UN) and the Japanese government. The “Biogas Project,” officially recognized by the UN Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), marks another milestone for Suzuki in terms of sustainable mobility.
With the “40th Anniversary Edition” of the GSX-R1000R, Suzuki is not only celebrating a milestone anniversary, but also bringing the legendary super sports bike back onto the road with numerous technical innovations, modern assistance systems, and iconic design features. After several years of absence in Europe, the return of the Gixxer in 2026 marks a significant event in the motorcycle world.
Suzuki has caused a stir worldwide with a new teaser video. The short video, published on Suzuki's global YouTube channel, references the upcoming 40th anniversary of the GSX-R series with artistic scenes from the pit lane and the hashtags #suzukibikes and #suzuka. No official information has been released yet. However, the full reveal is scheduled to take place on July 31 at 9 a.m. CEST, just before the start of the legendary Suzuka 8 Hours in Japan.
