ORCO: Sardinian sculptor transforms a neglected Yamaha MT-01 into a streetfighter. The Yamaha MT-01 was already a motorcycle full of contradictions in stock form. Italian sculptor Giordano Loi completely disassembled a run-down 2008 MT-01 and rebuilt it as a radical carbon fiber streetfighter called ORCO.

Midual is launching a new version of its handcrafted roadster, the Type 1 Série 3. This exclusive vehicle will continue to be produced in very small numbers and is aimed at collectors who value artistic craftsmanship and unusual technology. Only 20 units are to be built in total.

On October 18, 2025, an exceptionally refined BMW R 18 Transcontinental was auctioned off for charity at a Sotheby’s auction at Motorworld Munich. The one-of-a-kind motorcycle, blessed and signed by Pope Leo XIV, fetched €130,000 (approximately $137,500) at auction. With the radical conversion of a Honda GB350S, Italian customizer Nicola Manca and his workshop Maan Motocicli Audaci from Cagliari have once again succeeded in impressing the jury and audience at hondacustoms.com. The Hachimaan creation secured overall victory in the 2025 Honda Customs competition with 9,572 votes, representing 31% of the total 30,094 votes cast. This is already the second triumph for the team from Sardinia, following the CMX500 Rebel Maanboard’s victory in the 2022 competition.

However, in its latest iteration, it presents itself in a form that is rarely seen: completely clad in carbon fiber, aerodynamically optimized, and with a significantly sharpened focus on racetrack use.

A motorcycle that smells like French fries and is powered by a tractor engine—what initially sounds like a crazy DIY project is actually the result of years of work by 22-year-old student Alex Jennison. Using a 1999 Harley-Davidson Softail frame as a basis, he has created an unusual vehicle that runs on biodiesel made from frying oil. Jennison is currently on a 1,900-kilometer tour along the US West Coast with his homemade creation to raise awareness of the practicality of alternative fuels.

Monegasque Ferrari Formula 1 driver Charles Leclerc is auctioning off his custom-built Husqvarna Vitpilen 701. The motorcycle is called the “701 Serie Apex 2.0” and was built by Parisian custom shop Bad Winners. The workshop offered the special models in four stages (Stage 1 to Stage 4), with the Stage 4 version having the most extensive equipment and the highest price.
