Chinese company Zontes has released a drawing of a naked bike that could come on the market in 2022 and compete with the Yamaha MT-09.
The naked bike is equipped with a 1,000 cc motor. At least the Zontes Switzerland announces on their Facebook page. Other sources speak of an 800cc three-cylinder, which in turn could speak for two models.
Visually, it catches the eye, especially the three-spoke wheels with the green accents. To better accentuate the rear wheel, it is in a single swing arm.
It will be interesting to see how the design continues to develop and whether the motorcycle will really be launched on the market. So far, Zontes has mainly built 125 series. In the meantime there is also a series with 310cc models.
The 310R clearly shows the relationship to the upcoming naked bike. Zontes has also announced that the 310 R will soon come with a single swing arm.
