Reason for recall
During quality inspections, material deviations were found in the fuel cap seal on individual machines. These deviations could cause small cracks to form in the fuel cap seal ring. In the worst case, fuel could leak from the fuel cap area. Only a few isolated cases have been reported so far, but the manufacturer is taking proactive measures to avoid safety risks.
Procedure and handling
The sealing ring will be replaced free of charge and exclusively by authorized KTM or Husqvarna dealers. Customers whose motorcycles are affected will be notified by letter and asked to make an appointment for the replacement. In addition, it is possible to check online in the service area of the official KTM and Husqvarna websites whether your motorcycle is affected by the recall.
