With the Corsaro GT, Moto Morini is adding a variant to its Corsaro series that is clearly designed for touring and everyday use. The model was developed in Italy and is manufactured in China. Visually, the GT is based on current crossover concepts and combines an upright seating position with a partially faired front.
Design and concept
The Corsaro GT incorporates typical features of modern mid-range tourers. A small fairing with an adjustable windshield is designed to provide wind protection on longer journeys, while the wide handlebars and generously sized seat are intended to enhance comfort in everyday use and on trips. The seat height is 840 mm, which is within the usual range for this class of vehicle.
According to the manufacturer, the GT is aimed at riders who travel both in urban environments and on longer tours. The design has a deliberately familiar feel and clearly belongs in the crossover segment.
Engine and drive
The Corsaro GT is powered by a liquid-cooled 90-degree V2 engine with a displacement of 749 cm³. The maximum power output is 96 hp (70 kW) at 9,500 rpm, and the maximum torque is 74 Nm at 7,000 rpm. An A2 version throttled to 48 hp is also planned.
The technical features of the engine include dry sump lubrication and a counter-rotating crankshaft. According to Moto Morini, the latter is designed to enable more agile handling. Power is transmitted via a six-speed gearbox and chain drive.
Chassis and braking system
The chassis of the Corsaro GT is based on a composite frame made of aluminum and steel. At the front, there is a fully adjustable 43 mm upside-down fork, while at the rear, a central shock absorber with progressive deflection and externally adjustable spring preload is used. The spring travel is 145 mm at both the front and rear and is designed to offer a balanced compromise between comfort and stability.
The brake system is sporty in design. At the front, two 320 mm discs with four-piston monoblock calipers provide braking power, while a 255 mm disc is used at the rear. A lean-angle-dependent two-channel ABS system is standard equipment.
Electronics and equipment
The cockpit features a 7-inch TFT display that shows all vehicle information. The system offers Bluetooth connectivity, multimedia functions, and an integrated navigation system. In addition, the Corsaro GT has a blind spot assistant, a feature that is still rare in this class.
All lighting is LED technology. Overall, Moto Morini is positioning the GT in the upper mid-range segment.
Weight, range, and market launch
The dry weight of the Corsaro GT is 205 kg, equivalent to around 452 lbs. The tank holds 18 liters, which should provide a solid range for touring. No information on fuel consumption or range is available yet.
The market launch is announced for the second half of 2026. Moto Morini has not yet published any price information. There is also no confirmed information available at this time regarding final availability in individual markets. The model will be offered exclusively in red paint.
