Yamaha will soon introduce the new model range for 2020, which will then be BS6 compliant (new emission standard). It is expected that the new R15 V3 will be available from January 2020.
New Yamaha R15 V3 for India
Currently, it is expected that India’s new emission standards will lead to a rise in motorcycle prices by 10 – 15%. The current R15 V4 (BS4 model) is available for around INR 1.40 lakh ($ 1950 / € 1770), the new one will probably cost 1.55 – 1.60 lakh ($ 2160 – 2230 / €1960 – 2025) ,
Data for the new model is not yet known, but it is assumed that they are largely identical to the current model. Slight changes could be in the performance (hp and Nm).
