Rumors of an upcoming KTM Super Duke RR were reported here back in early November 2020. These rumors have now been confirmed by published emissions documents, even if the announcement by KTM is still pending.
No extra power for the RR
Contrary to previous speculation, however, the RR version will not have some additional power compared to the standard model. According to the emissions document, both variants will have 177 hp, but details about equipment or components are not listed.
Finest components
So, we can assume that the R and RR will differ in terms of equipment and components used. Rumors speak of an Akrapovic titanium complete system, finest damping components and many parts made of carbon. 9 kg should be saved by this. There is also talk of a limitation to 500 units.
