MotoGP – Amerika Grand Prix

From 27 to 29 March, MotoGP returns to the United States. The race takes place at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. The 5.513 km circuit has been part of the calendar since 2013 and is known for its steep uphill run into Turn 1, flowing direction changes and long straights. With a capacity of around 120,000 spectators, the venue offers an impressive setting for a Grand Prix weekend.

Track and Statistics

In Austin, Marc Marquez has been particularly successful, holding the records for most wins and most pole positions at this circuit.

Other race winners here include Alex Rins and Francesco Bagnaia.

The current lap record (2024) was set by Maverick Vinales with a time of 2:00.864. The highest recorded top speed at this track stands at 356.4 km/h.
