A Chinese type-approval document shows that Benelli is working on a new model.
In the application, however, the motorcycle runs under the name SRT500 from the brand QJMotor. The Benelli parent company recently launched the QJMotor brand for the Chinese market. The relevant models are to be published in China under this branding.
There the motorcycle is published under the name QJMotor SRT500 and in Europe (probably) under the name Benelli TRK502. At least one can doubt that the QJMotor brand will also be introduced in Europe.
If you compare the QJMotor SRT500 with the current Benelli TRK502, the most striking thing is the changed look. The beak was shortened a bit and the headlight was changed. The motorcycle looks more compact. According to the technical data, they could slim down about 10 kg.
The power has increased slightly by 1 kW.
There is no official data on a European version yet.
