Background to the TT Edition
The 2026 version is already the seventeenth helmet that Arai has developed specifically for the Tourist Trophy. The race will take place for the 106th time in 2026 and remains a central element of the partnership between the brand and the event. Over the years, the annual presentation of the TT helmet has become a fixed date in the international racing scene.
Structure and protection concept
Arai continues to base the shell shape of the RX-7V EVO on the egg structure, which is designed to offer a particularly stable shape. The R75 shell features a round and smooth surface, which, according to the manufacturer, is designed to dissipate impact energy as efficiently as possible. It has been developed over many years and is a key feature of the helmet series.
New graphic design by Drudi Performance
Drudi Performance was once again responsible for the design of the TT Edition 2026. The graphics tie in with the TT’s visual line, which has been adapted since 2024. The appearance focuses on a retro look with black, white, and gold. Dynamic lines emphasize the racing character. Colorful accents in red, orange, and blue complement the overall look.
The TT logo is clearly visible on the sides. White triskelions are found on the chin section and on the top. A gold “Tourist Trophy” lettering connects the graphic elements. The back features Drudi’s signature thumbprint symbol, framed by a red gradient representing the 37.73-mile Mountain Course.
