With the BKX 125, Benelli is expanding its portfolio in the A1 segment with a model that is visually and technically based on classic adventure motorcycles. The new model is designed to appeal specifically to young riders and fill a gap in the company’s own 125cc range.

Design and concept from Italy
The BKX 125 was designed at the Benelli Style Center in Pesaro. According to the manufacturer, the focus was on simple, soft, and clean lines with special attention to detail. The modern front with its striking light cluster including daytime running lights, which the BKX 125 shares with the sportier S variant, is particularly eye-catching.
At the rear, the brake lights are integrated directly into the turn signals, creating a tidy appearance. Overall, the design remains functional and clear, without exaggerated adventure references.
Chassis, wheels, and off-road orientation
A steel tube trellis frame serves as the basis. Suspension is provided by a 41 mm upside-down fork at the front, which is fully adjustable. Preload, compression and rebound can be adjusted. At the rear, there is a central shock absorber with linkage, which is adjustable in preload and rebound.
The BKX 125 is equipped with a 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel, both of which are spoked wheels. The front suspension travel is 180 mm. According to Benelli, this combination should allow the bike to be used on a wide variety of surfaces, including gravel and light trails.
New 125cc engine for Euro 5+
The new model features a completely newly developed 125cc single-cylinder engine. The liquid-cooled engine complies with the Euro 5+ standard.
It delivers 14.9 hp (11.0 kW) at 9,500 rpm. Maximum torque is 12.1 Nm at 7,000 rpm. This puts the BKX 125 at the upper end of the power range permitted for the A1 class. Benelli is explicitly positioning the model as an offering for young riders in the A1 segment.
Brake system and dimensions
At the front, a 280 mm brake disc is combined with a radially mounted four-piston brake caliper. At the rear, a 240 mm disc with a single-piston floating caliper is used.
The seat height is 860 mm and the ground clearance is 233 mm. Benelli specifies the tank capacity as 12 liters, which is within the usual range for an adventure-oriented light motorcycle in this class.

Market launch, colors, and price
The Benelli BKX 125 is expected to be available at Benelli dealerships in the UK from early 2026, with no date yet set for its launch in other markets. The price is £3,499, which is equivalent to around €4,100 or approximately $4,450.
Four color options are planned for the market launch: Nordic White, Cement Grey, Avio Blue, and Dune Sea.
