Isle of Man TT – 2027

Isle of Man TT 2027 – The World’s Oldest Motorcycle Road Race
The Isle of Man Tourist Trophy returns to the legendary Snaefell Mountain Course from 31 May to 12 June 2027. Since 1907, the TT has been the ultimate test of man and machine – 60.7 kilometres over public roads, through villages, across mountain passes and along the coastline of the Isle of Man. Average speeds exceeding 215 km/h (134 mph) make the Mountain Course the fastest and most dangerous road racing circuit in the world.
Circuit and Statistics
The Snaefell Mountain Course measures exactly 60.721 km (37.733 miles) and runs from the Grandstand in Douglas via Ramsey and the 621-metre Snaefell Mountain back to Douglas. The course comprises over 200 corners and connects tight village sections with high-speed mountain descents. The outright lap record stands at 16:42.778 minutes, set by Peter Hickman in 2024 at an average speed of 135.552 mph (218.162 km/h).
The Isle of Man as a Travel Destination
The Isle of Man is located in the Irish Sea between England and Ireland and is a self-governing Crown dependency of the British Crown. During TT fortnight, the entire island transforms into a motorcycle festival. Travel is by ferry from Liverpool, Heysham or Belfast (Isle of Man Steam Packet Company) or by air to Ronaldsway Airport. Early booking of accommodation and ferries is strongly recommended – the TT regularly sells out.
