Presentation at EICMA: The Honda V3R E-Compressor Concept
Honda plans to officially unveil the new V3R at EICMA in November 2025. The focus is on a newly developed V3 engine, which stands out in particular thanks to its electric compressor. The model name “Honda V3R” has been protected by the EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office) in the vehicle category since February 18, 2025. The addition “E-Compressor” has also been registered as a trademark.
Technical features: V3 engine with E-Compressor
Specific technical data on the new Honda V3R E-Compressor is not yet available. However, Japanese insider circles have leaked that the V3 engine is expected to have a displacement of around 900 cubic centimeters. In addition, a cylinder angle of 75 degrees is known. The electrically driven compressor, which visually resembles a turbocharger, is expected to deliver an engine output of well over 100 hp (over 73.5 kW) and a torque of more than 100 Nm. These figures are based on initial estimates and have not yet been officially confirmed.
Sound and chassis: First impressions from the teaser video
In August 2025, Honda released a teaser video in which the sound of the V3 engine can be heard briefly. The engine sound is described as a distinctive growl that lies between the sound characteristics of a V2 and an inline three-cylinder engine.
For the presentation of the V3 Concept at EICMA 2024, the engine was installed in a steel tube frame with an aluminum single-sided swing arm. In the current teaser video, the single-sided rear swing arm is once again clearly visible. Whether the final production model will feature this chassis remains to be seen.
Market launch and price
The official presentation of the Honda V3R is scheduled for November 4, 2025, at 10 a.m. at EICMA. According to current information, the naked bike is expected to go on sale in spring 2026. No pricing information has been released yet.

With the V3R E-Compressor, Honda plans to expand its model range with a technically ambitious naked bike featuring a novel V3 engine and an electrically powered compressor.
