- Ten DUKE models for 2026, including three R variants
- New KTM 990 DUKE R with 130 hp and 8.8-inch TFT display
- 1390 SUPER DUKE R and R EVO with 190 hp at the top of the range
KTM is systematically expanding its DUKE family for the 2026 model year. The naked bikes now cover almost every displacement and application. The range extends from compact single-cylinder bikes for urban mobility to uncompromising hyper naked machines with V2 power. Design, technology, and equipment have been further developed across the entire range.

Entry-level class: KTM 125 DUKE, 160 DUKE, and 200 DUKE
The KTM 125 DUKE continues to mark the entry point into the DUKE world. For 2026, it stands out from its smaller siblings with two new color options, revised fuel delivery, and a higher top speed. Ride by Wire, cornering ABS, and a 5-inch TFT color display are standard features.
The KTM 160 DUKE complements the range in selected markets. It is aimed at riders who are looking for a lightweight motorcycle with everyday performance and a clear DUKE look. Three color options are available. The KTM 200 DUKE also remains reserved for certain markets. It will also receive new color options for 2026 and continues to position itself as a sporty entry-level model with low weight.

Mid-range single-cylinder: KTM 250 DUKE and 390 DUKE
The KTM 250 DUKE benefits from a recently revised design and will be available in two new color variants in 2026. Its single-cylinder engine is designed to offer a balanced compromise between agility and everyday usability and is aimed at riders who want to take the next step beyond the entry-level class.
The KTM 390 DUKE remains the most versatile model in the lightweight naked segment. For 2026, it will be equipped with a new WP FCR4 brake caliper, which is designed to provide improved deceleration. The update is complemented by two new color options. Performance, ergonomics, and equipment continue to be aimed at the widest possible range of applications.

Mid-range twin-cylinder: KTM 790 DUKE and 990 DUKE
The KTM 790 DUKE is a familiar model with enhanced technology. It features the 5-inch TFT display and switchgear from the larger 990 DUKE. Combined with the parallel twin engine and modern rider assistance systems, it is designed to enable precise and sporty riding. This model comes with KTM’s four-year premium manufacturer’s warranty.
The KTM 990 DUKE is positioned above it as a particularly powerful mid-range naked bike. The parallel twin engine, compact design, and new color scheme are intended to underline the further development of the DUKE DNA. This model also benefits from the four-year manufacturer’s warranty.

Focus model: KTM 990 DUKE R
The KTM 990 DUKE R, first unveiled in 2024, will officially go into production in 2026. It is aimed at riders with a clear focus on performance. The 947 cc parallel twin LC8 engine delivers 130 hp, equivalent to 95.6 kW. The maximum torque is 103 Nm, which corresponds to around 76 lb ft.
Standard equipment includes an 8.8-inch TFT touch display with offline navigation and a fully adjustable WP APEX suspension with rear wheel deflection. The 990 DUKE R is also covered by the four-year premium manufacturer’s warranty.

Hyper Naked Segment: KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R and R EVO
At the top of the DUKE family are the KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R and the 1390 SUPER DUKE R EVO. Both models deliver 190 hp, equivalent to approximately 139.7 kW, and develop a maximum torque of 145 Nm, equivalent to around 107 lb ft. The braking system consists of two Brembo Stylema monoblock four-piston calipers at the front and a two-piston Brembo caliper at the rear.
The key difference lies in the chassis. The R EVO variant features a semi-active chassis that automatically adapts to riding style and road conditions. Both models embody the most extreme expression of the DUKE philosophy to date and are also covered by the four-year manufacturer’s warranty.
Outlook and accessories
KTM has announced two more particularly powerful DUKE models for April. According to Gareth Davidson, Product Marketing Manager Street, these models will be even sharper, lighter, and more precise. He said:
“April changes everything. Two of the most extreme DUKE models in the history of KTM will hit harder than ever before! Sharper. Lighter. Meaner. Power that resets expectations, precision that hunts apexes, torque that could turn the world on its own axis. Watch this space!”
At the same time, KTM is expanding its range of PowerParts and PowerWear, which are specially tailored to the new DUKE generation. The aim is to offer additional customization in the areas of performance, comfort, and protection.
