- Travel Editions with side cases and center stand as standard
- Savings of up to approximately 1,000 euros compared to purchasing accessories separately
Suzuki is expanding its lineup of Edition models for the 2026 season in Germany. These are standard production motorcycles that come equipped with additional accessories from the factory. Compared to buying the individual parts separately, buyers benefit from savings of up to approximately 1,000 euros depending on the model. Six Suzuki models have already been available as Power, Touring, or Travel Editions since the beginning of the year. Now Suzuki Germany is adding further variants in the Power Edition and Travel Edition categories.

Suzuki Power Editions 2026: More Sound, More Power, Less Weight
The central feature of all Power Editions is a factory-fitted Akrapovic exhaust. Depending on the model, the exhaust swap delivers measurable power gains in specific rev ranges as well as a reduction in vehicle weight. The respective figures were determined by Akrapovic as part of the component type approval process.
Hayabusa Power Edition and Hayabusa Special Edition Power Edition
For Suzuki’s flagship Hayabusa, two Power Edition variants are available. The standard Hayabusa Power Edition costs 21,390 euros (approximately 22,390 USD), while the Hayabusa Special Edition Power Edition is priced at 21,890 euros (approximately 22,910 USD). In both cases, the Akrapovic exhaust delivers a power increase of 1.6 hp (1.2 kW) at 8,700 rpm and 1.9 Nm of additional torque at 8,400 rpm. The weight saving amounts to 3.9 kg (approximately 8.6 lbs). Compared to purchasing the exhaust separately, the savings come to 962.32 euros.
GSX-8S Power Edition
The naked bike GSX-8S is offered as a Power Edition for 10,290 euros (approximately 10,770 USD). The Akrapovic exhaust provides a gain of 2.4 hp (1.8 kW) at 9,500 rpm and 1.4 Nm at 5,500 rpm. Weight drops by 2.2 kg (approximately 4.9 lbs). The savings compared to buying the exhaust separately amount to 250 euros.
V-Strom 800 and V-Strom 800DE Power Edition
The adventure tourer V-Strom 800 comes as a Power Edition for 11,390 euros (approximately 11,920 USD), while the adventure variant V-Strom 800DE is priced at 12,490 euros (approximately 13,080 USD). Both benefit from the same power increase: 1.5 hp (1.1 kW) at 6,000 rpm and 1.3 Nm at 6,100 rpm. The weight reduction of 1.2 kg (approximately 2.6 lbs) is somewhat less than that of the Hayabusa or GSX-8S. The savings amount to 299 euros each.
Suzuki Travel Editions 2026: Luggage Solutions for Long-Distance Touring
Alongside the performance-oriented Power Editions, Suzuki is also expanding its range with two Travel Editions aimed at riders who use their motorcycle for longer tours.
GSX-S1000GT Travel Edition
The sport tourer GSX-S1000GT is offered as a Travel Edition for 15,240 euros (approximately 15,950 USD). The package includes case mounting brackets, lockable plastic side cases, as well as color-matched case covers and a lock set. This ensures the luggage system blends seamlessly with the Grand Tourer’s overall design. The savings compared to purchasing separately come to 441.17 euros.
V-Strom 800DE Travel Edition
In addition to the Power Edition, the V-Strom 800DE is also available as a Travel Edition priced at 12,590 euros (approximately 13,180 USD). A special case is the GSX-8R 35 kW Power Edition. This supersport model is available in a restricted version with 48 hp (35 kW), targeting holders of the A2 license category. Despite the restriction, this variant also benefits from the Akrapovic exhaust with the same performance figures as the GSX-8S Power Edition: 2.4 hp (1.8 kW) extra power at 9,500 rpm and 1.4 Nm at 5,500 rpm, with a weight saving of 2.2 kg (approximately 4.9 lbs).
