New standards in the new millennium

- 2007: John McGuinness broke the sound barrier of 130 mph (209.21 km/h) on average for the first time. With a lap time of 130.354 mph (209.77 km/h) on his second lap, he proved what is possible with the HM Plant Honda.
- 2010: Ian Hutchinson made history with five victories in a single race week – still unrivaled today.
- 2018: Peter Hickman set new standards with a lap time of 135 mph (217.26 km/h) in the Senior TT race. His duel with Dean Harrison is one of the most exciting moments in TT history.
- Michael Dunlop: With an impressive record of victories, he has long since joined the ranks of the greats – his aggressive driving style and irrepressible will are documented in numerous races.
