Bruce Anstey will return to racing next month. He will compete in the Classic TT for the Milenco by Padgetts Motorcycles team with a Honda RS250 in the Lightweight class.
Bruce Anstey at the Classic TT
For the last time he drove a race in 2017. Because of cancer, he had to retire from racing. Fortunately, he is doing better again, although unfortunately there is no information on whether he could defeat the cancer.
The New Zealander is one of the greatest road racers of all time. He has already won 13 races at the Isle of Man TT. Also in the Classic TT, which exists since 2013, he has been very successful so far. In this time he was able to retire a total of six podium places (including three wins) in the categories Senior, Lightweight and Superbike. Together with Ian Lougher and Lee Johnston he shares the title of the most podium in the Classic TT so far.
