In China, the Aprilia GPR 150 is already on the sales floor, now they want to gain a foothold in India and brings the motorcycle there on the market. It will be officially unveiled at the Auto Expo in February.

The Aprilia RS 150 and Tuono 150 are already available in India, but these are adapted models and this has a price effect. It is an added disadvantage in the highly competitive Indian market, especially since Aprilia is more likely to be in the upper price category anyway.
The GPR 150 has been developed exactly for this engine size and fits perfectly for India. If the two models are a success, it would be quite possible that even 300 cc or 400 cc model will be developed for the Asian market.
