- Ducati Factory Made launches in Europe with the Multistrada V4
- Five color series available, including Lamborghini Ad Personam colors
- Configuration possible via the official Ducati website
Ducati has introduced Ducati Factory Made, a new customization program that integrates motorcycle personalization directly into the production process at its headquarters in Borgo Panigale for the first time. The program is celebrating its European launch with the Multistrada V4 and allows buyers to configure their motorcycle according to their own preferences when placing their order. All selected options are installed directly on the production line, eliminating the need for subsequent modifications or visits to the workshop.

Tailor-made ex works: How Ducati Factory Made works
The core idea behind Ducati Factory Made is factory customization. Instead of retrofitting a production model at the dealer, all desired components and color options are already installed during regular production. Ducati promises consistent assembly quality that meets its in-house manufacturing standards. The finished motorcycle is delivered to the buyer in exactly the configuration they previously put together in the online configurator.
Five color series for every taste
A central element of the program is the numerous color and paint options, which are divided into several series. The Icone colors reflect classic Ducati traditions and represent the history of the brand. Those who prefer a modern and shiny look will find the corresponding glossy finishes in the Style series. The Sophistication collection, on the other hand, focuses on matte surfaces and is aimed at buyers who are looking for a particularly exclusive and distinctive appearance.
For sport-oriented riders, the Performance Liveries are available, while the Ducati Corse Liveries are designed to bring the brand’s racing tradition to the road. Ducati thus covers a broad spectrum from classic to elegant to distinctly sporty.
Lamborghini colors for the Multistrada V4
The Ducati Factory Made program also continues the existing collaboration between Ducati and Automobili Lamborghini. Both companies have already cooperated in the past on special models of the Diavel 1260, Streetfighter V4, and Panigale V4. As part of Ducati Factory Made, selected colors from the Lamborghini Ad Personam program are now available. Specifically, these are the colors Viola Pasifae, Arancio Xanto, Giallo Belenus, Blu Uranus, and Verde Scandal. This allows Multistrada V4 buyers to order their motorcycles in paint finishes that are otherwise reserved for the super sports car segment.

Technical options and ergonomics
In addition to the color options, Ducati Factory Made offers a range of technical configuration options. For the wheels, there is a choice of cast rims in various colors, forged alloy wheels, and spoked wheels. The color of the rear frame and brake calipers can also be customized. Furthermore, buyers can adjust the seat height for the rider and passenger as well as the suspension to suit their needs, which, according to Ducati, allows for a level of customization that is almost artisanal.
In addition, options from the well-known Touring, Adventure, Sport, Tech, and Enduro packages can be combined with each other. This allows style, comfort, and performance to be tailored to personal preferences.
Pikes Peak and RS also configurable
The program is not limited to the base Multistrada V4. The Pikes Peak and RS model variants can also be personalized via Ducati Factory Made. These versions already come with specific standard equipment and their own paint finishes. Using the configurator, buyers can choose different seat heights, customize the color of the brake calipers (if they are not already part of the selected paint scheme), and add technical details such as additional headlights or carbon fiber accessories.

Configuration and ordering via the Ducati website
Ducati Factory Made is already active on the official Ducati website. There, interested parties can configure their dream Multistrada V4 step by step. Once the configuration is complete, the specifications can be sent directly to an authorized Ducati dealer to obtain a quote.
What this means for me as a motorcyclist
Ducati Factory Made is an exciting step towards true customization ex works. Until now, it was common practice to modify your motorcycle after purchase at the dealer or in your own garage, with all that this entails: additional costs, waiting times for parts and, in the worst case, compromises in terms of build quality. This program eliminates all that. Anyone ordering a Multistrada V4 can configure it the way they want it from the outset, from the paint color and wheels to the seat height. The possibility of adding Lamborghini colors to a motorcycle is likely to be particularly appealing to many. It remains to be seen whether the program will be extended to other Ducati models in the long term. For Multistrada fans, however, it is already a real upgrade in the purchasing process, because the motorcycle rolls off the production line exactly as they imagined it.
