For its 120th anniversary, Harley-Davidson has unveiled a special version of the Nightster. It will be equipped with a pillion seat and advanced electronics.
What makes the 2023 Harley-Davidson Nightster Special different from the standard version?
The Nightster Special is based on the Nightster 975, and the chassis, engine, damping components and brakes have been taken over unchanged. In addition, the Special is designed for riding with a pillion, which means it gets a second seat and, of course, the necessary footrests.
A modified handlebar riser is intended to provide the rider with a comfortable seating position by moving the handlebars up 2 cm and back 2.5 cm. The Special also features the Sportster S’s TFT round instrument cluster, which has Bluetooth connectivity, voice control and also a navigation function in conjunction with Harley’s app.
The elaborately designed multi-spoke cast wheels in cross-spoke design are also new, and a tire pressure monitoring system has been integrated into them. There are no changes to the wheel and tire sizes, which remain at 100/90 19 inches in the front and 150/80 16 inches in the rear.
The Harley-Davidson Nightster Special is equipped with cruise control ex works.
Since the engine was taken over unchanged, it remains with an output of 90 hp. Move this must now 225 kg, however, which is an additional weight of 4 kg compared to the base model.
