After MV Agusta has gradually revised the entire model range for Euro5, now it was time for the Brutale 1000 RR.
Engine
As with the 800 models, the friction in the engine was also reduced on the 1000 RR. For this purpose, cup tappets and the valve guides in the cylinder head were DLC-coated. Revised camshafts provide modified port timings.
Together with the new manifold, the 988cc engine achieves 208 PS at 13,000 rpm and 116 Nm at 11,000 rpm. So the maximum torque could be increased a bit.
Other changes
The transmission was strengthened and the quickshifter was revised. The semi-active suspension has been retuned. The ABS now uses the new acceleration sensor and the MK-100 system, which also takes the lean angle into account.
The 5-inch TFT dashboard can be paired with the smartphone via Bluetooth.
The colors FireRed / Matt Metallic / Dark Grey or Matt Metallic Aviation Grey / Metallica Dark Grey / Fluorescent Yellow are available. The price is listed at 32,300 euros.
