Since 05/01/2021, new regulations come into force in the EU concerning a tire label. The new label must fulfill additional criteria and offer the potential buyer more information about the tire.
The three criteria of fuel efficiency, wet grip and rolling noise will be supplemented with information on the tire brand, type identifier (item number), dimension designation and suitability on snow and ice. In addition, a QR code on the label leads to the tire manufacturer’s EU database to offer further information about the tire.
