Yamaha has to call almost 465000 motorcycles into the workshops worldwide.
It was discovered that problems had occurred during the manufacturing process of the rear reflectors, which meant that the reflector did not reflect the full amount of incident light. This means that the requirements of the UN-ECE regulation for type approval are not met.
The models affected are Nmax 125, X-Max 125, X-Max 300, YZF-R3, MT-03, X-Max 400, XSR 700, Tenere 700 and Tracer 700.
The reflector will be replaced free of charge in the workshop. Depending on the model, this should take six to twelve minutes. Owners of such models should contact their Yamaha dealer.
