The crash at the test in Jerez made the injury worse. Marc Marquez has to fight it for a longer time, like last year. At that time it was the left shoulder.
Apparently he already had problems since his highsider in the qualifying of the penultimate race of the season (GP of Malaysia).
He got the medical clearance for the race and finished second behind Maverick Vinales. The last season race he won. Both races he have driven with a dislocated shoulder, as now known.
Now that the tests in Jerez have been completed and pending the winter break, MM want to operate. The surgery is already planned for this Wednesday (2019/11/27)
