- 449 cc parallel twin producing 44 hp (33 kW) at 8,500 rpm and 42 Nm at 6,500 rpm
- Price in Germany starting at 5,890 euros (Standard) or 6,140 euros (High Equipped)
- Available in the USA as the Vettore 450 for $6,499
The adventure bike segment between 400 and 500 cc has been growing rapidly for several years. The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, CFMoto 450MT, Honda NX500, KTM 390 Adventure R, and the upcoming BMW F 450 GS demonstrate just how much activity this class is seeing. Now Moto Morini is joining the fray with the Alltrhike 450, an A2-compliant adventure bike that was first shown as a prototype at EICMA 2024 and presented as a production model in summer 2025. The name combines “All Terrain” and “Hike” and is meant to underscore its off-road ambitions.

Familiar Engine in a New Package
At the heart of the Alltrhike is a liquid-cooled 449 cc parallel twin with DOHC valve train, eight valves, and a 270-degree crankshaft offset designed to produce a V-twin-like sound. Power output stands at 44 hp (33 kW) at 8,500 rpm, with peak torque of 42 Nm (31 lb-ft) at 6,500 rpm. This means the engine meets A2 license requirements without any restriction. A six-speed gearbox handles shifting duties, with final drive via chain. Moto Morini quotes a top speed of approximately 150 km/h (93 mph).
The engine is largely identical to the powerplant found in the CFMoto 450MT and CFMoto Ibex 450. Bore and stroke, compression ratio, and power figures are very similar. Moto Morini has a history of strategic partnerships, such as the Kawasaki-licensed 650 cc engine used in the X-Cape. Production in China has been standard for Moto Morini since the takeover by the Zhongneng Vehicle Group in 2018. Development and design are handled at the European headquarters in Trivolzio near Pavia, Italy, according to the manufacturer.
Suspension and Brakes from Well-Known Suppliers
The suspension is supplied by Japanese manufacturer KYB. Up front, a 41 mm upside-down fork offers 210 mm of travel and is adjustable in preload, rebound, and compression damping. At the rear, a progressively linked monoshock provides 190 mm of travel with adjustable preload and rebound. The steel tube frame carries an aluminum swingarm. Ground clearance measures 215 mm, with a seat height of 840 mm.
The brakes come from Spanish manufacturer J.Juan, which has been part of the Brembo group since 2021. A single 320 mm disc with a radially mounted four-piston caliper handles front braking, while a 255 mm disc with a two-piston caliper takes care of the rear. The Bosch ABS operates on two channels and can be deactivated on the rear wheel for off-road use. The tubeless-ready spoked wheels measure 21 inches at the front and 18 inches at the rear, fitted with 90/90-21 and 140/70-18 tires.

Generous Standard Equipment
Despite its moderate price, the Alltrhike 450 comes with an extensive list of standard features. These include a 5-inch TFT color display with Bluetooth connectivity and an integrated navigation system via the Carbit Ride app, USB-A and USB-C charging ports, switchable traction control, an adjustable windscreen, a center stand, and an aluminum engine guard. The tank holds 18.5 liters, which should enable ranges of over 350 kilometers (217 miles) with moderate riding.
Weight figures vary depending on the source: Moto Morini’s own website lists a dry weight of 170 kg (375 lbs), while various European media report 190 kg (419 lbs) without fuel. Fully fueled, the Alltrhike is likely to tip the scales at over 200 kg (441 lbs).
Two Versions and Broad Market Coverage
The Alltrhike 450 arrives on the European market in two trim levels. The standard version is available in Night Black and Jungle Green starting at 5,890 euros. The High Equipped version costs 6,140 euros and adds heated grips, a heated seat, and hand guards. This variant is limited to a white color scheme. In the UK, the Alltrhike will be available at dealers from April 2026, priced at 5,299 pounds (approximately 6,100 euros / $7,050) plus on-road costs.
In the US market, the motorcycle is sold under the name Vettore 450, the Italian word for “vector.” Moto Morini registered the alternative model name through a VIN filing with the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The US price is $6,499 (approximately 5,630 euros). Moto Morini is also active with the Alltrhike in Brazil.
The production model differs in several ways from the EICMA prototype shown in 2024. The radiator now features a large ventilation opening behind the bodywork panels designed to direct hot air away from the rider. The exhaust routing has been changed and now runs upward near the rear suspension. The headlights have also received a more compact, rectangular projector shape instead of the round units seen on the show bike.
Strong Competition, Aggressive Pricing
With a starting price of 5,890 euros in Germany, the Alltrhike 450 positions itself at the lower end of the price spectrum. The CFMoto 450MT sits in a similar range, while the KTM 390 Adventure R and the upcoming BMW F 450 GS are likely to be significantly more expensive. The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and the Honda NX500 also compete in this segment.
Moto Morini is a brand with roots dating back to 1937. The classic V-twin models of the 1970s, designed by engineer Franco Lambertini, still enjoy an excellent reputation among enthusiasts. After several ownership changes and financial difficulties, the brand has been part of the Chinese Zhongneng Vehicle Group since 2018. The current model lineup includes the Alltrhike as well as the X-Cape 700 and X-Cape 1200 adventure bikes, along with various naked bikes and cruisers. All Moto Morini models come with a three-year warranty with no mileage limit.
