Harley-Davidson is recalling the Pan America because the grab handle on the seat could break.
It would be possible that when jacking up the machine, the pillion grab handle could be damaged or even break. The handle for the pillion is actually not intended as a grab handle for jacking up or certain parts of it are not sufficiently designed for the upward pull.
Affected motorcycles are the Pan America models built between March and October 2021.
The recall originates from the American region, but since motorcycles are usually produced in a factory for the global market, other markets could also be affected.
