Indian calls the models Chief, Springfield, Chieftain and Roadmaster back to the workshops. Affected are the model years 2014 to 2019.

Motorcycles built between 06 June 2013 and 30 May 2019 may receive an incorrect signal due to oxidation at the contacts of the gear selector switch, which may display a wrong gear.

Since displaying a wrong gear could increase the risk of accidents, the models are called to the workshops for inspection.
