For October 2021 one planned with the Diamond Races a new Road Racing Event on the Isle of Wight.
Like the Isle of Man TT, the races on the Isle of Wight for 2021 have now been canceled, they are to take place sometime in 2022. The reason is of course the Corona pandemic and the uncertainty of how the situation will develop by October.
Also for 2021 there was no fixed date yet, only the rough statement that it should take place in October. Races in the Superbike, SuperSport and SuperTwin classes were planned. In the first year, there was also to be a demolap for sidecars, and in the following years the sidecars should be included in the event.
The “Diamond Races” should last about one week. On a Wednesday and Thursday the trainings should take place and the races then on Saturday. Now we have to wait one year longer for all this…
