New promoter for the Hard Enduro World Championship: ProTouchGlobal takes over

The Hard Enduro World Championship is starting the 2025 season with a significant change: the FIM (Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme) has officially confirmed that the Swiss sports management agency ProTouchGlobal will be the new promoter of the series with immediate effect.  The company will take over all organizational and commercial tasks relating to the championship.

Comprehensive responsibility for ProTouchGlobal

With the new agreement, the entire promotion of the Hard Enduro World Championship will in future be in the hands of ProTouchGlobal.  This includes the coordination of the events, the allocation of worldwide broadcasting rights, the development of commercial partnerships and initiatives to involve the fans.

Previously, the championship was largely financed by main sponsor KTM.  However, following ongoing financial difficulties, the Austrian manufacturer withdrew from sponsorship.  The previous promoter, WESS Promotion, also announced its withdrawal, meaning that the organization of the 2025 season was temporarily on the brink of collapse.

ProTouchGlobal has now closed this gap and is already actively planning the coming season.

Preliminary calendar for the 2025 Hard Enduro World Championship

A first draft of the race calendar for the 2025 season has already been published.  The planned dates are as follows:

  • May 10-11 – Valleys Hard Enduro (United Kingdom)
  • June 12-14 – Silver Kings (USA)
  • July 22-26 – Red Bull Romaniacs (Romania) (still under negotiation)
  • September 6-7 – Abestone (Italy) (still under negotiation)
  • September 20-21 – Hixpania Hard Enduro (Spain)
  • October 9-11 – Sea to Sky (Turkey)
  • October 24-25 – Getzen Rodeo (Germany)
  • November 20-22 – Roof of Africa (Lesotho)

Some events, including the legendary Red Bull Romaniacs and Abestone, are still in final negotiations.

Objective: Preserving the essence of hard enduro

Robbie Hunter, Managing Director of ProTouchGlobal, expressed his optimism about the new partnership:

“It’s an honor to take over the management of such a prestigious and adrenaline-filled championship.  The FIM Hard Enduro World Championship events are no ordinary races – it’s an extreme battle between rider, machine and nature.  Our goal is to evolve the sport while preserving its raw, untamed essence.”

ProTouchGlobal thus strikes a balance between further development and preserving the original spirit of hard enduro racing.
