The Triumph Bonneville Bobber has been given a comprehensive makeover for the 2026 model year. The British custom bike remains true to its minimalist design, but combines traditional styling elements with modern technology and revised ergonomics.

More striking appearance and new color combinations

With its enlarged 14-liter tank, the new Bobber looks significantly more powerful. New, redesigned body parts such as the side covers and air intake covers create a sharper silhouette. The classic style is further emphasized by a compact LED headlight with distinctive daytime running lights.

The model range includes three color options: Interstellar Blue/Sapphire Black, Satin Mineral Grey/Satin Sapphire Black, and timeless Jet Black. This keeps the look individual and distinctive.

Modern technology discreetly integrated

For the first time, the Bonneville Bobber features lean-sensitive, optimized ABS and traction control. A new, cockpit-mounted USB-C charging compartment increases everyday usability. The digital instrument cluster features a classic analog clock with an integrated LCD display.

New, lightweight aluminum rims reduce unsprung weight and ensure even more agile handling. Two riding modes (“Road” and “Rain”) are available, adjusting throttle response and traction control accordingly. Cruise control is integrated as standard for longer journeys.

Revised comfort and greater flexibility

The characteristic “floating” seat has been made wider and more ergonomic, improving comfort for the rider. The seat height is now between 690 and 700 mm (approx. 27.2–27.6 inches), allowing the Bobber to be adapted to different body sizes. Adjustable footrests, levers, and instruments support individual ergonomics.

Powerful engine with characterful sound

The heart of the bike remains the liquid-cooled, 1200 cm³ Bonneville parallel twin with 8 valves and a 270-degree crankshaft. Peak power is 78 hp (57.5 kW) at 6,100 rpm, with maximum torque of 106 Nm at 4,000 rpm. The EURO 5+ standard guarantees low emissions and economical fuel consumption of 4.4 l/100 km.

The special “Hot Rod” tuning is designed to give the engine a particularly powerful response. The exhaust system with two slash-cut mufflers is tuned for a throaty sound.

Chassis and components

The Bobber stands on 16-inch spoked wheels with 32 spokes, fitted with 130/90 tires at the front and 150/80 tires at the rear. Suspension is provided by 47 mm Showa cartridge forks and a concealed KYB monoshock with adjustable spring preload. Braking is provided by two 310 mm brake discs and Brembo two-piston calipers at the front, and a 255 mm disc and Nissin single-piston caliper at the rear.

The weight with a full tank is 251 kg (approx. 553.4 lbs).

A2 option for new riders

For the first time, the Bonneville Bobber can be equipped with an A2 restriction kit, allowing novice riders in Europe to ride the model. The power reduction does not compromise the fundamental character of the machine.

Long service intervals and extensive customization options

Service intervals are 10,000 miles or 12 months, whichever comes first. Triumph also offers a wide range of accessories with more than 120 genuine parts – from leather seats to high handlebars and customizable rear lights.

Pricing and availability

The new Bonneville Bobber will be available at Triumph dealers from January 2026. The recommended retail price for the UK market is £13,795, which is equivalent to approximately €16,290 or $17,200 (as of October 2025, excluding regional taxes and duties). Prices for other markets are still to be confirmed.

Conclusion

With the 2026 Bonneville Bobber, Triumph combines classic looks with modern technical features and improved ergonomics. Its accessibility for A2 license holders and numerous customization options underline the versatility of this model.
