The Tiger Sport 800 gets a comprehensively equipped long-distance package with the Tour version. The model combines familiar triple performance with standard touring accessories and is expected to be available from February 2026.
  • Standard equipment includes panniers, top case, comfort seat, heated grips, hand guards, and center stand
  • 115 hp / 84.6 kW at 10,750 rpm, 84 Nm at 8,500 rpm
  • Market launch from February 2026

Triumph is gearing the Tiger Sport 800 more towards long-distance riding with the new Tour version. The model takes the engine, chassis, and electronics from the well-known Tiger Sport 800, but combines them with extensive touring equipment that comes as standard.

Touring equipment ex works

The Tiger Sport 800 Tour comes with components that are usually only available as retrofit options. These include a center stand, heated grips, hand guards, and a comfort seat with thicker padding, 3D Net technology, and integrated air channels.

An aluminum luggage rack carries two color-coordinated side cases with a total volume of 57 liters and a 49-liter top case that offers space for two helmets and has double back padding. The painted cases and top case are color-coordinated to match the bike exactly.

A tire pressure monitoring system is on board for added safety. The bike weighs 232 kg ready to ride, including the mounted luggage solutions, which is equivalent to 511.5 lbs.

Colors and design

Two paint options are available for the Tour:

  • Matt Cobalt with Matt Sapphire Black and gold accents
  • Carnival Red with Sapphire Black and identical gold details

These color schemes extend from the fairing to the panniers and top case, giving the bike a harmonious overall look.

Three-cylinder with 115 hp

The familiar 798 cc triple remains unchanged. It delivers 115 hp (84.6 kW) at 10,750 rpm. Maximum torque remains at 84 Nm (equivalent to around 62 lb-ft) at 8,500 rpm. According to the manufacturer, around 90 percent of the torque curve is available in the mid-range.

A six-speed transmission with Triumph Shift Assist is standard equipment. The stainless steel exhaust is a triple-flow 3-in-1 system and can be supplemented with an optional Akrapovič silencer.

Chassis and brakes

The chassis features the familiar components of the Tiger Sport 800. The front consists of 41 mm upside-down forks from Showa with separate damping functions and adjustable rebound and compression. At the rear, there is a Showa monoshock with adjustable rebound and a hydraulic, remote-controlled spring preload adjuster.

Braking is provided by radially mounted four-piston calipers from Triumph on two 310 mm discs at the front and a 255 mm single disc at the rear. The bike rolls on cast wheels and Michelin Road 5 sport touring tires.

Ergonomics and practicality

The Tour version adopts the generous ergonomics of the Tiger Sport 800, supplemented by additional comfort features. The one-handed adjustable windscreen with side deflectors offers improved wind protection. The seat height remains 835 mm.

The tank holds 18.6 liters and, together with the efficient engine characteristics, enables a range suitable for everyday use. The total capacity of the luggage system is 106 liters.

Electronics and connectivity

The Tour has three riding modes: Sport, Road, and Rain. Ride-by-wire and switchable traction control are standard features, as are optimized cornering ABS and lean-angle-sensitive traction control.

The cockpit combines an LCD with a color TFT display. The My Triumph connectivity system enables navigation, phone functions, and music control via Bluetooth. Full LED lighting ensures visibility and energy efficiency.

Maintenance, warranty, and accessories

Triumph specifies the same service-friendly intervals for the Tiger Sport 800 Tour as for the base version. The manufacturer specifies 10,000 miles or 16,000 kilometers, or twelve months. The machine comes with a two-year warranty with no mileage limit, which also covers original accessories.

There are 35 accessories available for customization, ranging from visual enhancements to functional upgrades.

Price and availability

In the UK, the starting price is £12,895, which is equivalent to around €15,000 or approximately $16,200. For Australia, Triumph quotes 23,290 Australian dollars, which is approximately 13,900 euros or around 15,000 dollars.

The first units are scheduled to go on sale in February 2026, and pre-orders are already being accepted.
