Yamaha launches a special model of their Tenere 700. It comes in the historical colors blue and yellow, as well with the black speed block.
With this special design they want to honor the Dakar heroes of the past. In addition, the special model has also been equipped with a number of lighter components and “higher standard equipment”.
The engine protection plate made of 4mm thick aluminum offers increased protection for the engine and lower frame tubes. It is equipped with attachment points to attach a tool bag. A black aluminum radiator guard is designed to prevent the penetration of small sticks or stones. The chain guard was also made of aluminum.
The exclusive one-piece seat is 20 mm higher than the standard model and therefore offers a seat height of 895 mm. This should result in a more upright sitting position of the lower half of the body and facilitate a change from sitting to standing.
The Akrapovic slip-on muffler, which is equipped with a heat shield made of carbon, provides a rich and robust sound. The LED turn signals have a slim and compact design. The rubber grip pads on the tank and the off-road handlebar grips should provide more grip.
