With the GPR 250 Aprilia brings back a quarter-liter motorcycle to the market, but probably only in China.
250th Aprilia is coming (for China)
The Aprilia GPR 250 is powered by a 249.2 cc single cylinder. It produces just under 26 hp (19.5 kW) at 9,000 rpm and 22 Nm at 7,500 rpm. The compression ratio is 11.3: 1. Empty weighs the GPR about 150 kg (330 lbs).
Braking is with a 300 mm disc on the front. The braking system is equipped with a 2-channel ABS. The tank holds only 14 liters.
It have a Upside-Down fork. The front wheel is equipped with a 100/80-R17 tire. The backwheel is have 130/70-R17.
The dimensions: length 1,950 mm, width 770 mm and height 1,100 mm
Where exactly the 250 Aprilia will come on the market, has not been revealed. Since it was exhibited in China, it is clear that it will come there as well. It probably will not make it to Europe because of the unsuitable engine / performance size.
Also, the entire Asian market is probably unlikely, since there first the GPR 150 should be published.
