In fact, Brembo only bought a 2.43% stake. They plan this as a long-term and non-speculative investment. The participation in Pirelli takes place directly through the Brembo holding company Nuova FourB.
Alberto Bombasei, the President of Brembo, announced last autumn that he was looking for partners in the form of joint ventures or technical cooperation. The reason for this is the rapidly increasing electrification in the automotive industry.
