For a long time there have been rumors that KTM is working on a 490 series. Work on a corresponding engine has also confirmed by KTM. Spy photos of a new RC, however, showed the known engine, which contradicts a RC 490.
It is possible that the new engine (and thus the new model series) will not be launched in 2020, or that the engine is for the Asian market only.
Currently there is speculation about the presentation of a 390 Duke, RC 390 and a 390 Adventure on the Eicma.
