Harley-Davidson is stopping motorcycle production for at least 15 days. The reason is probably problems with a supplier’s compliance with legal regulations. What does this mean?
What this means is not really clear and has not yet been revealed by Harley-Davidson. Harley is also currently keeping to itself which supplier it is, or which parts are being sourced from this supplier.
The factories in Menomonee Falls in Wisconsin and York in Pennsylvania are affected by the stop. Since fewer motorcycles are being built than originally planned, this will also have a direct impact on delivery times.
