BMW Motorrad facelift for 2021

BMW is introducing various changes for different 2021 models, which can range from new colors to expanded accessories or changed optional accessories.

BMW is introducing various changes for different 2021 models, which can range from new colors to expanded accessories or changed optional accessories.

BMW’s super sports bike will also be available in a friendly black in the future. The color Racingred uni is no longer available. There are also some changes to the accessories of the S 1000 RR. The changeover to Euro5 also takes place.

The updated models can be ordered from August 2020. Certain optional extras are only available from September, October or December.

BMW S 1000 RR

New color black storm metallic. Racingred uni is dropped.
Changeover to EU-5.
New special equipment: sports silencer.
New special equipment: M Titan exhaust system.
New special equipment: M milled parts package, M clutch lever protector, M brake lever protector, M brake lever foldable, M clutch lever foldable, M engine protectors, M driver footrest system right / left
New special equipment: sports package. M Endurance chain, USB charging port and M GPS lap trigger.
New special equipment: USB charging port.
New special equipment: M Endurance chain.
New special equipment: M GPS lap trigger. Activation code so that a GPS sensor can send the signal into the instrument cluster. This enables the data logger to trigger the lap timer / lap counter via GPS instead of manually.

BMW R 1250 RS

Sport Style Sport in Austin Yellow metallic now with a new frame color in matt black, option 719 Stardust metallic is no longer required.
ABS ABS cannot be switched off.
Changeover to EU-5.
New special equipment: engine drag torque control as part of the SA driving modes Pro.
Extended special equipment: Pro driving modes now includes Core Screen Sport.
New special equipment: Option 719 Shadow milled parts package with engine cover in the front & cylinder head covers in black / silver anodized.
New special equipment: Option 719 milled parts package Shadow II with hand lever, driver foot pegs and foot lever as well as expansion tank covers in black / silver anodized.
New special equipment: Option 719 milled parts packages Storm / Storm II with division like option 719 milled parts packages Shadow / Shadow II.
Option 719 HP milled parts package, HP milled parts package II and option 719 seat are not applicable.
Sports silencer replaces previous HP rear silencers.

BMW R 1250 R.

Exclusive Style Exclusive new in mineral gray metallic. Style Exclusive in Pollux metallic matt and Option 719 Stardust metallic are no longer required.
Style HP renamed to Style Sport.
ABS ABS cannot be switched off.
Changeover to EU-5.
New special equipment: engine drag torque control as part of the SA driving modes Pro.
Extended special equipment: Pro driving modes now includes Core Screen Sport.
New special equipment: M Lightweight battery replaces previous HP battery.
New special equipment: Option 719 Shadow milled parts package with engine cover in the front & cylinder head covers in black / silver anodized.
New special equipment: Option 719 milled parts package Shadow II with mirror, hand lever, driver foot pegs and foot lever as well as expansion tank covers in black / silver anodized.
New special equipment: Option 719 milled parts packages Storm / Storm II with division like option 719 milled parts packages Shadow / Shwadow II.
Option 719 HP Milled Parts Package, HP Milled Parts Package II and Option 719 Seat are not applicable.
Sports silencer replaces previous HP rear silencers.

New color option 719 mineral white metallic. Option 719 Stardust metallic and option 719 Blueplanet metallic / ivory are not applicable.
Frame and motor in all color variants in black.
Reversing aid and adaptive headlights now in series.
RDC and TFL now in series.
New special equipment: engine protection bar.
New special equipment: change in content of tour package. Extension by additional LED headlights and engine protection bar, reversing aid is not required.
Security package is not applicable.

BMW K 1600 GTL.

New colors Manhattan metallic, Style Elegance and Option 719 mineral white metallic. Pollux metallic, Style Elegance and Option 719 Stardust metallic as well as Option 719 Blueplanet metallic / ivory are no longer required.
Reversing aid and adaptive headlights now in series.
RDC and TFL now in series.
New special equipment: engine protection bar.
New special equipment: change in content of comfort package. Extension with engine protection bar.
Security package is not applicable.

BMW K 1600 B.

New color Mars red metallic. Imperial blue metallic is not applicable.
Reversing aid and adaptive headlights now in series.
RDC and TFL now in series.
New special equipment: engine protection bar and LED auxiliary headlights.
New special equipment: change touring package content. Additional LED headlights, audio system, engine protection bar, running board (optional storage compartment lockable instead of running board).
New special equipment: change in content of comfort package. Shift assistant Pro, KR, ZV, DWA. LED auxiliary headlights are no longer required.
Security package is not applicable.

BMW K 1600 Grand America.

New color Mars red metallic. Imperial blue metallic is not applicable.

New: Style Sport with light white uni / Racingblue met./Racingred uni, titanium sports silencer, M Endurance chain, Sport windshield, additional core screen with laptop timer.
Tank cover and map compartment in the vehicle color.
New special equipment: titanium sports silencer.
New special equipment: Tour package with expanded content. USB charging port, new luggage rack with integrated holder for 30 l and 49 l top cases.
Revised special equipment: luggage rack with integrated holder for 30 l and 49 l top case.
New special equipment: M milling parts package. M foldable brake lever, M foldable clutch lever, M left engine protector, M right / left driver footrest system. and M passenger footrest system right / left.
New special equipment: USB charging port.
