The R Nine T is a contemporary retro bike. Classic optics were paired with modern technology. In cooperation with John Red Design, Zillers Garage has now take a hand on the R Nine T and created its own interpretation.
The Moscow-based custom shop encased the motorcycle with aluminum fairing. This gives the classic look of the R Nine T an even more nostalgic steampunk look.
But not only a fairing was made, details such as integrated indicators, modified controls, the modified wheelset or illuminated BMW logos are also appealing.
In order to achieve an extremely flat silhouette, an air suspension has been integrated, which lets the bike drop to a few millimeters above the ground when standing.
Nothing has been changed on the engine, only the exhaust system has been specially manufactured. The rear muffler is aligned steeply upwards and ends directly in front of the rear tire, which is on a single-sided swing arm. The brakes comes from Brembo.
The motorcycle was supposed to be presented at the Motovesna Motorcycle Show, but the fair fell victim to the Corona crisis.
