To celebrate once again the victory in the prestigious American off-road race Mint 400, Ducati launches the strictly limited Desert Sled Fasthouse.
It is limited to 800 units and is based on the Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled. The paintwork is based on the bikes from the race.
Since Ducati achieved victory in the Mint 400 in collaboration with the clothing company Fasthouse, they also collaborated on the special model. In addition to the Fasthous name affix, a full clothing collection will also be released. T-shirt, long-sleeved shirt, jacket and cap together form the so-called Capsule collection.
The Fasthous look
The main colors of the Desert Sled Fasthouse are black and gray. The two colors combine in a geometric design on the tank. The Ducati Scrambler and the Fasthouse logo can also be found there. The frame has been designed in red. On the right side below the tank, a small metal plate was attached, on which the number of the corresponding model was also engraved.
Equipment and data
The Scrambler is powered by the well-known 803cc engine. The swingarm, triple clamp and suspension are said to be tailor-made for big adventures on off-road tracks, like the Nevada desert, where the Mint 400 also takes place. The suspension was also designed for off-road. The homologated grille for the headlight, the high fender and the underride guard further emphasize the off-road design.
The saddle has a non-slip coating. The seat height is 860mm. The travel of the Kayaba suspension is 200mm. The footpegs are inspired by off-road use and are equipped with removable rubber pads.
The spoked wheels, in 19-inch front and 17-inch rear sizes, have been fitted with Scorpion Rally STR. The tires are said to combine the best performance of an off-road tire with that of an enduro street tire.
