Recently there were the first rumors about a Honda Rebel 1100. The rumors are now getting louder and are fueled by patent drawings that surfaced on the Internet in early March (as reported).
The drawings show the 1.084cc Parallel Twin of the Africa Twin in different chassis. Honda seems to want to install the engine in several motorcycles in various categories.
Since engine development is extremely expensive and it would be cheaper to adapt a motorcycle to an existing engine, it really makes sense. Several manufacturers have been doing this for a long time.
According to the latest rumors, the 1,084cc parallel twin of the Africa Twin will also be installed in the Cruiser Rebel 1100.
