New territory for Mash: The new K750 based on the Jedi K750

Mash Motorcycles, previously known for classic café racers and scramblers with retro charm, is expanding its model range for 2025 with a sporty new addition: the Mash K750. The new model represents a significant departure from the French manufacturer’s previous offerings and is expected to be available on the European market shortly.

Technical basis: Proven platform from China

Instead of a completely in-house development, Mash is relying on an existing platform for the K750. The technical basis is provided by the Chinese model Jedi K750, which was already introduced in 2021. At the heart of the K750 is a liquid-cooled two-cylinder in-line engine with a displacement of 730 cm³. Mash specifies the power output as 73 hp (53.7 kW) at an as yet unspecified rpm. The maximum torque is 67.8 Nm (converted from 50 lb ft).

Equipment and chassis

The chassis of the Mash K750 is remarkably well equipped for this price range. Braking is provided by a Brembo brake system, while the chassis uses components from KYB (Kayaba). Electronic support is provided by a two-channel ABS system from Bosch. For contact with the road, the K750 is equipped with Michelin Power 5 tires, which are considered high-quality tires in this segment.

Visually, the Mash K750 stands out clearly from the manufacturer’s other models. The design is characterized by striking fairings, a single-sided swing arm rear suspension, and multi-spoke wheels. The sporty appearance is more in line with European style, although the technical basis comes from China.

Pricing: Significantly below the competition

In France, the Mash K750 is priced at €6,899 (approx. $7,475). This puts the model significantly below comparable sports bikes such as the Kawasaki ZX-4R Ninja or the Yamaha R7. The savings amount to around £2,500 (approx. €2,950 / US$3,200) compared to the Kawasaki and almost £3,000 (approx. €3,540 / US$3,840) compared to the Yamaha R7.

Classification and outlook

With the K750, Mash is targeting a segment that has not previously been part of its identity. The motorcycle is designed to offer a sporty riding experience at a price that is affordable for its class. Another model based on Jedi technology, the FR750, has already been presented by Mash. For the time being, the K750 and FR750 are only listed as new products on the French Mash website. It is likely that the models will also be available in other European markets in the future.
