Already in February, a sonorous name returns to the salesrooms of the Triumph dealers, the Speed Twin.

Triumph wants to combine the power of a modern custom bike with the timeless character of a Triumph and advanced technology.
Performance and equipment
The Speed Twin is powered by the Bonneville’s 1,200 cc engine, in a redesigned or Thruxton configuration. The parallel twin with eight valves delivers 95 hp at 6,750 rpm and 112 Nm at 4,950 rpm.
The Brembo double disc brakes at the front provide for deceleration. The lightweight cast aluminum wheels were equipped with Pirelli Diablo Rosso 3.
It is equipped with ABS, immobilizer, USB charging socket, traction control and three driving modes (road, rain and sports). The clutch is torque assisted which increases comfort on long haul or in city stop-and-go traffic. For lighting, LEDs are used.
The suspension was derived from the Thruxton R and should provide for an extremely agile and dynamic handling. The tank holds 14.5 liters of fuel.

The Speed Twin is designed for customizing. Triumph has prepared more than 80 accessories to customize them.
