As reported, there was a news that Royal Enfield wants to withdraw from the Vietnamese market as they failed to gain a foothold there in the last four years. Now Royal Enfield announces that they still plan to sell there.

Apparently there was a misunderstanding, as Royal Enfield is now looking for a new distributor.

A statement from Royal Enfield says, “Vietnam is an important market for Royal Enfield. We would like to deny the news reports about the imminent withdrawal from Vietnam. We have no plans to leave the market and are determined to grow the medium-duty recreational motorcycle segment here. We are currently looking for a new distributor for Vietnam and in the meantime, Al Naboodah International will continue to service and support existing Royal Enfield motorcycle owners in the country.”
