Ducati has introduced a new color concept for the Monster 1200 S, providing a preview of the model year 2020.

The sporty naked bike will be in a “Black on Black” livery for next year. It’s a combination of shiny and matte black.

If you prefer the traditional Ducati red, you do not have to be disappointed. This color will continue to exist.

Ducati wants to emphasize the pure style of the monster by the black, their sportiness should be underlined by the flash of red on the rim.

The well-known Testastretta 11 ° DS engine with 145 hp at 9,250 rpm will not change. The monster’s safety features include a variety of riding modes, inertial-based safety features with cornering ABS, tracktion and wheelie control.

In the S-version is a 48 mm fork and a mono strut from Öhlins. Braking is at the front with two 330 mm brake discs and Brembo M50 monoblock calipers. It has wheels with three Y-spokes, a carbon fiber mudguard and is equipped with DRL (LED daytime running lights) and LED turn signals.

For quick shifting, the S version also has a shift assistant to switch up and down the gears.

The new Monster 1200 S in “Black to Black” will be available from September at the Ducati dealers in Europe.
